Fertilizers
enhance the growth of plants. This goal is met in two broad ways, the traditional one being additives that provide nutrients. The second mode by which some fertilizers act is to enhance the effectiveness of the soil by modifying its water retention and aeration. This article, like most on fertilizers, emphasizes the nutritional aspect.
Fertilizers typically provide, in varying proportions:
three main macronutrients: nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K);
three secondary macronutrients: calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and sulfur (S);
micronutrients: copper (Cu), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), molybdenum (Mo), zinc (Zn) and nickel (Ni), and sometimes boron (B), silicon (Si), cobalt (Co), vanadium (V).
The nutrients required for healthy plant life are classified according to the elements, but the elements are not used as fertilizers. Instead compounds containing these elements are the basis of fertilizers.

Irrigation
In sprinkler or overhead irrigation, water is piped to one or more central locations within the field and distributed by overhead high-pressure sprinklers or guns. A system utilizing sprinklers, sprays, or guns mounted overhead on permanently installed risers
is often referred to as a solid-set irrigation system. Higher pressure sprinklers that rotate are called rotors and are driven by a ball drive, gear drive, or impact mechanism. Rotors can be designed to rotate in a full or partial circle. Guns are similar to rotors, except that they generally operate at very high pressures of 40 to 130 lbf/in² (275 to 900 kPa)

Rollerhook
trellising has never been so simple
The Rollerhook is a state of the art trellising hooks. The unique design of the rollerhook enables the worker to easily, rapidly and safely lower and lean tomato or cucumber plants.
In one smooth motion, the worker simply steadies the plant with one hand on the trellising twine, squeezes the lock with the other hand, then slides the entire unit down the supporting overhead wire an appropriate distance as he simultaneously lower the plant.
Difficult and time consuming motion of holding up the plant while unhooking, unwounding and rehooking the conventional twine hooks are eliminated. The specialized lock also prevents the unit from accidentally coming off the supporting overhead wire.

PLANTS CLIPPER, Tomato clips
are specially designed to guide the stem, so it is not necessary to turn the stem around the twine. This way the stem will not be pinched of by the twine, the apex of the plant will not be damaged and the leaves keep their natural orientation and position.
Using clips ensures better growth of the crop and a better fruit quality. The clips are made of polypropylene. You can choose different sizes.

The Truss Supports

are used to support the first trusses.
The quality of these trusses is always a problem owing to snapping. The Truss Support is fastened around the truss stem, lending support and ensuring better fruit quality and increased production.
The Truss Supports HMO 5,5 mm and
6 mm have open constructions and are therefore very suitable for the early stadium of the growth in which stems need more contact with open air.

Cucumbers
There are two major types of cucumbers that can be grown in the greenhouse for both home and commercial production.
The most popular are the long, seedless varieties often referred to as European, Japanese or English.
The mini cucmber which is also known as the "Lebanese" cucumber.
These type of cucumber have thin,bitter-free skin and are usually considered to be more attractive and appealing.
